A Branch Manager is a dedicated and customer-focused team member who provides exceptional service and support at our branch location. The Branch Manager should possess strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently assist customers while maintaining branch operations to generate revenue. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team while delivering excellent customer service and managing operational responsibilities. A Branch Manager exercises responsibility for planning, organizing, and developing plans for increasing sales, profitability and branch development. Directs production, distribution, and marketing operations for branch/assigned territory.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conferences with potential and existing customers, dealers, vendors, and representatives of associated industries to evaluate, promote, improve, and expand services in area Help establish market plan for branch market to achieve financial objectives, business plans, and required gross margin targets Works with Regional Manager to set objectives, train employees and educate customers Assist Territory Managers in account management for equipment-based dealers Maintains an awareness of local market and competitive conditions of local competitors, customer preference and desires, industry trends, and to communicate such information promptly, with recommendations to management Ensures compliance with company and industry policies and procedures Implement and support product promotions with current and new vendors Communicate daily with staff on goals, plans, procedures, and protocols Effectively controls inventory, conduct required counts, proper product level setting and product management Inspire, develop, and motivate employees for future growth within the organization Able to instruct and train all branch functions and computer-based sales programs Assist in the recruitment and selection of capable branch personnel Manage the opening and closing of branch. Set 24-hour opening procedure for branch and assign staff according to business needs Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Able to clearly communicate company policies regarding purchases, returns, credit terms, and other relevant procedures. Ensure accurate cycle counts and inventory management Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong product knowledge with the ability to provide recommendations and solutions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Microsoft Office Suite & POS/ERP System Knowledge Physical ability to lift and handle products safely.Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree, College Preferred 2 Years' Experience in HVACR industry, products, and services required 3Years' Management Experience Required Supervisory Responsibilities:
Branch & Warehouse Associates All Store Employees Physical Demands:
Required to lift up to 75 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, stretch, kneel, squat, push, pull, and move about the facility for the entirety of the shift.Work Environment:
Location of position: Greater Austin Area, Texas Background Check, DOT Physical, MRV, and Drug Tests required Possess and maintain a valid driver's license Work will generally be performed in a retail work environment. May be exposed to Warehouse/Shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
