Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Branch Manager and become a vital leader in delivering exceptional financial services to our community. In this energetic role, you will support the branch's daily operations, foster strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth through effective team management. Your leadership will ensure compliance with banking regulations and promote a positive, customer-focused environment. Duties Assist in managing branch operations, ensuring smooth daily activities and adherence to policies. Support and motivate team members to achieve sales targets through upselling and cross-selling financial products. Oversee customer relationship management efforts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Ensure compliance with all banking regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines. Monitor fraud prevention and detection procedures to safeguard assets and customer information. Handle cash management responsibilities such as cash handling, debits & credits, and balancing cash drawers accurately. Participate in loan origination, underwriting, processing, and mortgage servicing activities to support loan officers and clients. Lead team management initiatives including training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Utilize financial software systems for loan processing, account management, and reporting purposes. Conduct basic math calculations including 10 key typing for transaction processing and data entry tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in banking or financial services with a focus on sales management or loan officer roles. Strong knowledge of banking regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act, TILA, Fair Housing laws, and FNMA guidelines. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships through relationship management techniques. Familiarity with fraud prevention strategies and detection tools within a banking environment. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing debits & credits efficiently. Experience with mortgage servicing, loan origination, underwriting or processing is highly desirable. Proficiency in financial software applications and basic math skills are essential for success in this role. Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to sales and upselling opportunities.
