Job Description

Manager, Industrial Wholesale Business Industrial Distributor Branch Manager Professional needed PVF (pipe, valve, fitting) experience required If you have the drive to be the best in your field and if you are ready to transform your expertise into a career or to mentor a growing store, we have just the opportunity for you. We are a family owned Industrial/Commercial Supplier of Pipe, Valves, Fittings, Gaskets and Specialty Solutions . We provide the industrial and commercial industry with quality solutions that make our customers' jobs efficient and smooth. We are looking for Independent Store Manager who takes pride in their knowledge and work in order to service our customers with solutions. Key markets include Power Generation, Chemical Production, OEM and Food equipment industries, among many others. In this role, you will work within the Seattle, Washington region and provide service to our existing and new customers by leading our team and offering Service , Solutions and Savings.
Purpose:
Responsible for attaining or exceeding the sales and gross margin rates for the sales territory of Seattle, WA while implementing the region's market plan(s). Achieving its sales and marketing objectives in the Industrial market in order to grow the business.
Job Goals:
  • Manage Daily, Weekly, Quarterly and Annual Operations of the store and personnel.
  • Manage all warehouse, sales and office staff for operational needs and ensure customer service needs are being met and exceeded.
  • Develop business plans that support the Industrial market within the assigned territory; work with appropriate staff to develop plans that implement the regional growth; develop assigned sales territory growing the customer base and introducing service, products and technical support.
  • Implement the sales management process utilizing sales rep business plans, pre-call plans, and post-call coaching debriefs; establish annual sales and gross margin rates for market applicable sales reps or other sales personnel within the district.
  • Evaluate industry and business trends for potential impact on the district; identify key business opportunities and potential threats within the assigned sales territory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers so that the assigned sales territory is properly positioned within the marketplace; provide guidance and support in the retention of profitable business.
  • Ensure a consistent focus on delivering high quality customer service.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate tools and training programs within the assigned sales region to support the Industrial business growth.
