Essential Functions & Responsibilities Directs, develops, motivates, hires, and coaches branch personnel; responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff and sustain a well trained and engaged staff Apply and evaluate policies and procedures set for the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with credit union regulations and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. Be the Credit Union representative in the community. This includes representing the branch in networking events, building relationships with members, suppliers, other financial institutions and the community at-large Maintains communications with leadership; prepares and submits activity reports; monitors branch activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; attends scheduled management meetings and trainings Selling Credit Union services and leading effective sales meetings while assisting, developing, and disbursing member's loan requests and depository transactions in a timely manner Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to use office technology such as a computer, internet, email, and other office related software Ability to work in an office environment for at least 8 hours per day Performs other job related duties as assigned Performance Measurements To maintain a well trained, cohesive and productive staff that is capable of meeting the organization's future growth plans To meet or exceed annual budgeted operating plan for the branch To maintain/improve the financial stability of the branch To meet or exceed the branch growth plan To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the branch To input observations and give feedback of the same to direct reports no less than 10 business days following each quarter Participate in the general management of the organization as a member of the management team Mus have in-depth understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting deposit/loan/accounting programs with the credit union Knowledge & Skills Experience Three years to five year of similar or related experience Education (1) a two year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program or past work experience Interpersonal Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of business development, building relationships and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
