In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting and Financial Aid department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Responsibilities Work in Quickbooks to reconcile bank accounts Enter financial data and transactions Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Complete required tax forms Qualifications Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
