As a growing company, we believe that everyone has an important role in building important relationships. We are seeking a contributor to our growth in the area of Accounting. An experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper who has interested in expanding their finance career, technical curiosity, and the talent to keep our accounting systems running smoothly. Our ideal candidate, 4-6 years of experience in bookkeeping within the manufacturing field, tech savvy, proficient in creating and maintaining budgets, and has an eye for detail and accuracy. A self starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment, while working with a small team. The Position This is a full-time, salaried position and reports to the CEO.
Key responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable & Receivable Standard AR and AP job duties Cash Flow reports and ability to designate payables Reconciliation of credit card statements Keeping up to date with Journal entries and reconciliations Variance analysis and reporting; Journal entries Preparation of routine financial reports for management review
Bookkeeping:
Documenting transaction details Maintaining General Ledger and Chart of Accounts Putting together and managing company budgets Putting together financial reports Routinely reconciling books Fact-checking accounting and sales data Notify senior staff of any accounting errors Calculate sales tax charges Recording financial transactions Process and record Payroll (ADP Run) Commissions and expense reimbursement Safeguarding financial information Submitting end of year sales tax Working with CPA on taxes and other information needed
System Administration and Other Tasks:
Ensuring digital records details are accurate and current (Google Suite, Zoho Books, Customer portals) Ensuring Accounting Systems and applications are functioning correctly Onboarding employees Supporting Operations Manager with COGS and setting Vendor Terms Willingness to support team needs as things arise Integrity & Attributes Maintains confidentiality regarding organization's financial and personnel information Positive attitude along with engaging personality Proactive with accounts receivable Enjoys finding ways to improve financial position and overhead Compliance with GAAP principles, company policies and procedures Self-starter who shows up organized and uses good judgment to prioritize Clear communicator (written and verbal) Shares goals, objectives and knowledge with the team; Is flexible if priorities change Strives to contribute in meaningful ways to the success of the team Strong spreadsheet skills Experience using (and truly enjoying!) project tracking Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business field with accounting background Four to six years of progressive experience and responsibility in bookkeeping/ accounting positions. Experience in contemporary accounting programs, systems and office tools (ZohoBooks, ADP Run, or similar ERP systems, Google Suite, and Ring Central) Eligible for Company Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
