Job Description

Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk Location:
FM Bank and Trust-Blytheville Schedule:
20-25 hours per week
Hours:
Flexible scheduling available Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations. Flexible work hours allow employees to create a schedule that fits their needs while supporting the needs of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation Prepare and process payments to vendors Maintain organized accounts payable records and files Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries Assist with month-end accounting processes as needed Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets Support the accounting and finance team with additional administrative duties Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Experience with accounting software is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities What We Offer Flexible weekday schedule Friendly and professional work environment Opportunity to be part of a collaborative team Competitive hourly compensation based on experience If you are organized, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment, we encourage you to apply.
