Category Laboratory•Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, working as a generalist on the 3rd shift (7:30 p.m.•7:30 a.m.). This contract position offers a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about laboratory analysis, accuracy, and quality patient care. Schedule:
3rd shift: 7:30 p.m.•7:30 a.m.
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Experience working as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours Proficiency with relevant laboratory equipment and information systems Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards Accepts exemptions as required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of diagnostic tests and procedures as a generalist in the lab Analyze laboratory findings and communicate critical results to healthcare providers Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory instruments Adhere to established protocols and regulatory guidelines to sustain accuracy and safety Collaborate with fellow laboratory professionals to maintain a high-functioning department Document and report test results with precision and clarity
