Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Full Job Description We are currently interviewing for an Experienced Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. Please read this entire description before applying. This is NOT entry level position.

Candidates with a vast knowledge of automotive accounting, currently or recently serving as an accounts payable clerk at a new car dealership in Arizona. Individual with a "Whatever needs to be done" attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Proven track record in accounts payables. Proficient in MS Word and Excel (or Google Docs) Willingness to Listen and Learn Positive Attitude Ensure that all manufacturer accounts/receivables are current and accurate Maintain a professional appearance Ensure compliance with all legal regulations Love to serve others Strong Work Ethic Show up on time and ready to work

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval Prepare accounts payable checks Post all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files Reconcile statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedule Communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the Business Manager Audit freight bills against freight inquires Analyzes vendor accounts Answer all vendor inquires Reconcile bank balances on a daily basis Assist in monthly closings Prepare analysis of accounts, as required Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary Maintain a professional appearance and neat work area. COMPENSATION

This is an hourly position with a pay range between $21-$24.00 per hour based on experience plus montly bonus.
