We're growing fast, we're building something special, and we need someone sharp to keep the numbers clean. If you're detail-driven, comfortable juggling multiple systems, and want to be part of a company that actually values its people — keep reading. The Role You'll work alongside our lead accountant to keep the financial engine running smoothly. This is a hands-on bookkeeping and invoicing role — you're the person making sure every dollar is tracked, every invoice is accurate, and every customer record is buttoned up. What You'll Do Prepare, review, and submit invoices to customers — making sure every line item, PO number, and billing detail is correct before it goes out the door Upload invoices and required documentation to customer portals and third-party billing platforms Set up new customers in our systems — collect W-9s, billing contacts, payment terms, and all required information so jobs get billed right the first time Audit existing customer records for accuracy and update billing information as needed Verify that all invoice requirements (lien waivers, certificates of insurance, signed proposals, etc.) are met before submission Compile and distribute monthly financial summaries and reports Support the lead accountant with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciliation, and ad hoc projects Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing questions and discrepancies What We're Looking For Detail-obsessed. You catch the typo, the wrong PO, the mismatched address — before anyone else does Multi-tasker who doesn't drop balls. You'll be managing invoices, portals, customer data, and reports at the same time. Prioritization is your superpower Comfortable with technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Bonus points for experience with accounting software, CRM/ERP systems, or customer billing portals Strong communicator. You'll interact with customers, vendors, and our internal team — clear and professional communication matters Self-starter. You take ownership, ask smart questions, and don't wait to be told what's next Phone & office skills. Comfortable on multi-line phone systems — and yes, the occasional fax (we know, we know… it's 2026) Nice to Have Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or invoicing Familiarity with the construction or service trade industries Experience working with ServiceTitan or similar field-service management software QuickBooks or other accounting platform experience Why Anderson We've been in business for nearly 60 years because we do things the right way.
