$20-$27 per hour Job Summary The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This position assists with accounts payable and receivable, data entry, reconciliations, recordkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain accounting and financial information accurately. Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Reconcile account balances and identify discrepancies. Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation. Prepare routine reports and accounting summaries. Communicate with internal departments regarding billing and payment questions. Assist with month-end accounting activities. Follow company accounting policies and internal procedures. Protect confidential financial and employee information. Requirements Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
