full-time This full-time, on-site role is based in Beverly Hills, CA, and involves posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and helping prepare financial statements and reports. The person in this role will manage routine bookkeeping activities such as tracking expenses, processing invoices, and updating accounting software with current data. The Assistant Bookkeeper will collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure timely billing, proper documentation, and compliance with internal financial procedures. This role may also assist with month-end close activities and provide support during audits or financial reviews. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and handling journal entries (Accounting, Bookkeeping, Journal Entries). Ability to work with financial reporting and analysis tools to support financial statement preparation (Financial Statements, Finance). Proficiency with accounting software and related office applications (Accounting Software, basic spreadsheet and word processing tools). Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a law firm environment. Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting; experience in a legal or professional services setting is a plus. Relevant education in accounting, finance, or business, or equivalent practical experience.
