Accounts Payable Clerk I

Accounts Payable Clerk I We are looking for an Accounting professional with proven Accounts Payable experience in performing Accounts Payable duties. This position involves maintaining overall accuracy in our accounting systems, and the ideal candidate will help to ensure that account policies and procedures are properly observed in the Accounting department. This includes preparation of regional accounts payable, journal entries. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger concepts.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) including vendor and invoice management Process Purchase Order (PO) invoices with proper receipt matching ensuring that goods or services are received (3-way match) Ensure proper coding for all AP activity Ensure accurate and timely processing for all company disbursements Collect and maintain invoice supporting documentation required for payment Collect, review, and reconcile vendors' statements of account Assist with general ledger accounting including journal entry preparation with appropriate backup Fulfill all duties in a timely manner to comply with the close calendar Assist management team with ad hoc reporting and projects

Job Requirements:

Major in finance or accounting/business field At least 2 years of A/P experience preferred Knowledge of bookkeeping and GAAP Must be a team player with a positive attitude and drive A strong sense of confidentiality Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Highly skilled in use of Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables preferred) Basic knowledge of computer components Must be authorized to work in the US Must be able to commute daily to office About Us
