We are seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to join a growing wholesale import company in Commerce, CA. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with ownership and oversee the company's day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a small business environment. This is not a specialized AP or AR position-you will manage multiple areas of accounting and take on increasing responsibility as you grow into the role.

What You'll Be Doing:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Maintain the general ledger and accurate financial records Perform bank and account reconciliations Support month-end closing activities Track inventory-related accounting transactions Process vendor invoices and expense reports Prepare internal financial reports and summaries Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies proactively

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (required) Educational background + degree in accounting or finance Experience managing both AP and AR Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, and basic analysis) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision High attention to detail and accuracy Strong computer skills and ability to learn accounting systems

Pay, Schedule, and Location Pay Rate:

$30.00 - $33/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Location:

Commerce, CA (On-site)

Hiring Requirements:
