Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Concord. Contract role - potential to become permanent. This onsite role is scheduled for approximately 15-20 hours per week and is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on accounting environment. The position will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end activities, and producing reliable reporting. Possible for increased hours into the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities while keeping financial records accurate, current, and well organized.
- Complete monthly close tasks, including preparing and posting journal entries and verifying supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements promptly, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support visibility into company performance and account activity.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Maintain records within Sage software and help ensure accounting data is entered consistently and accurately.
