Job Description
Job Summary A growing organization in the wholesale trade and import-export industry is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in Los Angeles, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys managing AP, AR, reconciliations, collections, and accurate financial documentation in a fast-paced business environment. The Bookkeeper will play an important role in keeping financial transactions organized, timely, and accurate. This is a strong opportunity for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with internal teams and customers, and quickly adapt to established accounting processes. The work environment values teamwork, accountability, accuracy, and proactive problem solving, with supportive leadership and a collaborative approach to daily operations. Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and entering invoices, as well as preparing payments.
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, payment application, and account updates.
- Perform collections activities by following up on outstanding balances and maintaining accurate customer account records.
- Reconcile accounts and review financial data to help ensure accurate and complete bookkeeping records.
- Maintain organized, current, and audit-ready financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end close tasks and related accounting support as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $73,000 per year.
