ASAP About the Opportunity Seeking an Accounting Assistant / Junior Accountant to support a specialized financial reconciliation and reimbursement project. This role will focus on reviewing transactions, tracking recoverable costs, maintaining detailed records, and helping ensure accurate customer credit and reimbursement processing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with large volumes of data, has strong Excel skills, and is highly detail-oriented. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain tracking databases to monitor costs, billings, and reimbursements Review financial records and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Reconcile invoiced amounts against recorded costs and transactions Process data entry and maintain electronic and shared-file records Organize and manage information from multiple data sources and document repositories Assist with customer reimbursement and credit-related accounting activities Support accounting team with reporting, analysis, and administrative tasks Qualifications Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including: Formulas Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong 10-key and typing skills Understanding of basic accounting concepts, including debits and credits Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of detailed information Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent accounting experience Top Priorities Advanced Excel Skills Strong Attention to Detail Fast and Accurate Data Entry / 10-Key Skills Basic Accounting Knowledge All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
