Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations for a Contract position based in Folsom, California. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a collaborative accounting team. The role offers a strong foundation in core accounting processes while providing exposure to a broad range of administrative and financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day accounting activities by assisting with both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor billing details, prepare payment documentation, and help coordinate scheduled disbursements.
  • Compare supplier statements against internal records and resolve discrepancies to keep accounts accurate and current.
  • Record incoming funds and prepare bank deposit information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Provide assistance with semi-monthly payroll activities, including related administrative follow-up and data review.
  • Help track employee time records and process expense submissions in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Update and organize accounting policies and procedure documents to improve consistency across departmental workflows.
  • Assist with year-end support tasks such as 1099 preparation, audit document gathering, and other special projects as needed.
  • Protect sensitive financial information by maintaining proper confidentiality standards and document control practices.
