Full Job Description AP/AR Construction Accounting Associate Overview:

Handles both payables and receivables for construction operations, supports job cost accounting, project financial reporting, month end and year end closings. Fast paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process high volume vendor invoices in Vista Retainage and subcontractor payments Material suppliers Equipment rentals Code costs to projects and cost categories accurately Support subcontractor compliance W9 documentation for all vendors Accounts Receivable Apply cash receipts and reconcile AR with general ledger Update weekly dashboards General Accounting Support month-end close for various entities Maintain document records electronically through Vista and SharePoint Prepare AP and AR reports for management Reconcile AP & AR subledgers with general ledger 1099-year end preparation and filing for various entities Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 3-5 years in AP/AR construction accounting experience Strong proficiency in Excel Experience with construction ERP Understanding of construction job cost structure (retainage, lien waivers, progress billings) Skills
• Strong Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to manage high volume processing in fast paced environment
• Analytical and organized
• Problem Solving
• Professional, strong oral and written communication with internal stakeholders as well as customers
• Ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
• Understands the importance of providing customer service to internal stakeholders and external customers

Pay:

$63,000.00 - $83,587.00 per year
