Monterey, CA Job Details Part-time 4 days ago Qualifications Confidential information handling QuickBooks Full Job Description Part-Time Bookkeeper Monterey, CA Monterey Peninsula Surgeon is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our busy surgical practice. This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys working independently, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting a healthcare organization committed to exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card statements Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries Prepare monthly financial reports for management Assist with ADP payroll processing and payroll-related reporting Coordinate with the practice's CPA and tax professionals Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience Proficiency with QuickBooks Strong understanding of accounting principles Excellent organizational and time-management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting preferred, but not required Position Details Part-time position (approximately 12-15 hours per week) Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Located in Monterey, California .
