Construction Office Assistant Berger Steel Corporation North Highlands, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $28 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Accounting systems Filing Bachelor's degree Financial records management QuickBooks Full Job Description Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Ability to enter sub-contractor and vendor invoices into QuickBooks for payment. Match all current bills to the correct job and cost code. Collect Lien waivers for current projects. (Partial Conditionals, Unconditional, and Finals) Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms Organize and prepare monthly reoccurring expenses (Rents, Electric Bills, office supplies) Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies Assist in month end closing Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices Answer Phones Minimum Requirements Good communication skills. Self-motivated, can work under pressure. Knowledge of construction terms is preferred but not required. Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred Up to 40 hours a week. No Overtime. Pay Range between $22/hr to $28/hr
