Job Description
Full job description Reeve-Knight Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Billing Associate to join our accounting team. We are committed to excellence, teamwork, and innovation. Our information can be found at www.reeve-knight.com.
Key Responsibilities Billing and Invoicing :
Prepare, review, and submit progress billings, including AIA (American Institute of Architects) documents and lien waivers. Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely billing based on contract terms. Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and address client billing inquiries.Accounting Support :
Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable and project billing records. Maintain detailed and organized records of subcontracts, change orders, and other project documentation.Compliance and Reporting :
Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations related to construction billing and accounting.Team Collaboration :
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address discrepancies or billing concerns.Qualifications Education :
Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.Experience :
Minimum 1 year of experience in construction billing and accounting support. Proficiency with AIA billing, lien waivers, and construction-related financial documentation.Skills :
Knowledge of construction accounting software (e.g., Trimble, Viewpoint, Foundation, Sage Intact, Procore, or similar). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and other accounting tools. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Other Requirements :
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be self motivated. Previous experience in the construction industry or similar field preferred.
