Our headquarters is located in Santa Ynez, CA. Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant in Santa Ynez, CA. This role is a great fit for someone with 2 to 4 years of accounting experience who enjoys working with numbers, records, and financial information. The Accounting Assistant will support financial and administrative processes, maintain accurate account records, assist with day-to-day office operations, and provide responsive service to internal teams. This opportunity offers a strong path to build experience in accounting support, property management operations, and administrative support. Candidates who are organized, dependable, accurate, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities will be well positioned for success. The work environment is professional and team-focused, with an emphasis on accuracy, communication, and providing reliable support across multiple company divisions. Key Responsibilities Support accounting and administrative processes by maintaining accurate records, account information, and documentation. Assist with account-related tasks, data entry, filing, reconciliations, and general financial recordkeeping. Provide administrative support to clients, vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders. Organize and prioritize daily tasks to ensure deadlines, requests, and follow-up items are completed accurately. Use Microsoft Office and other office systems to prepare, update, and track records, reports, and correspondence. Qualifications Strong Accounting expertise, including proficiency with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Comfort with routine, daily tasks paired with a strong desire to learn and take on more complex duties and responsibilities. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks software and Excel, with the ability to create detailed spreadsheets and reports preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience in manufacturing, and/or real estate property management preferred.
