JOB OVERVIEW
The Cash Poster is responsible for using reports, tools and other resources provided by Aveanna, for the accurate posting of cash to the company's accounts receivable records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply cash payments to correct invoice line items in an accurate and timely manner Balance posted amounts against EFT totals Follow up, research and resolve all outstanding items Communicate and work with internal teams for missing information and to resolve discrepancies Responsible for understanding and appropriately applying Regional Center payments (and other payors) based on evolving cash posting processes Ability to demonstrate practical problem-solving skills Utilizes Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and reconcile high volume data efficiently Audit and upload external invoices as needed Understands and enforces SOX 404 controls Conducts all assignments as a professional with a sense of urgency Achieves cash posting goals, standards and within expectations Uses professional communication and conflict resolution techniques as required Reviews and responds to correspondence with a sense of urgency Keeps supervisor informed of any significant cash or processing issues References and reflects upon the company mission, values and strategic imperatives in completing work Other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School diploma or equivalent Minimum six (6) months related experience Strong Excel skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Computer literate and ability to type, file and maintain audit records Excellent research skills Other Requirements Must be able to always adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries Attention to detail Time Management Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations Strong commitment to excellence Quick-thinking and astute decision-making skills Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution Excellent organization and communication skills Physical Requirements Must have visual and hearing acuity. Age Must be 18 years or older Language Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Perform duties in an office environment during agency operating hours. Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
