Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Temecula, CA with a close-knit organization in the telecommunications services industry. The Accounting Specialist will support core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, deposits, and general accounting support. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working with confidential financial information, and experienced with QuickBooks Desktop. Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Prepare invoices, record payments, and support customer and vendor account activity.
  • Handle deposits, payment posting, reconciliations, and related accounting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general accounting support tasks.
  • Use QuickBooks Desktop to enter, review, and manage accounting information.
  • Protect confidential financial data while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $23 to $24 per hour.

    Temecula, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
  • Prepare invoices, payments, deposits, and related accounting entries.
  • Support accurate financial recordkeeping and general accounting operations.
  • Use QuickBooks Desktop for daily accounting transactions and reporting support.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Associate degree in Accounting.
  • Strong QuickBooks Desktop experience.
  • Solid understanding of AP, AR, invoicing, payments, deposits, and general accounting processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Strong math skills and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial information.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the telecommunications services industry.
  • Long-term career mindset and interest in joining a stable, close-knit team.
  • Prior experience supporting multiple accounting functions in a small to mid-sized business environment.
