The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting various accounting functions and overall Office efficiency and Communications. This role requires proficiency in multiple accounting and construction software platforms as well as a solid understanding of financial concepts, GAAP standards, and both corporate and non-profit accounting practices. The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting the preparation of financial reports as well as maintaining a efficient and responsive Office environment for our Clients. Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping operations including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations Utilize accounting software such as Xero, SupplyPro, ProCore and others to record financial and Business transactions accurately Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation to ensure consistency across accounts Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP standards Maintain accurate records of debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting Assist with payroll processing and tax-related activities as needed Support budgeting activities and provide account analysis for management review Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and other regulatory requirements Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly Experience Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate, governmental, or non-profit environments Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SupplyPro, ProCore and financial software tools Knowledge of GAAP principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management Experience with bank reconciliation, journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial report writing Familiarity with construction practices, software platforms and industry is a plus Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks Excellent understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, account analysis, and budgeting processes This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the organization's financial health.
