Job Description
Our client in Walnut Creek is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for an ongoing contract to permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail oriented with strong accounting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience handling day-to-day financial transactions. The Bookkeeper will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting overall accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivableProcess invoices, payments, and bank reconciliationsManage general ledger entries and assist with month-end closePrepare financial reports and support reporting activitiesAssist with payroll processing and expense trackingEnsure accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures and internal controlsCommunicate with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding billing and account inquiriesSimilar remote jobs
