Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Watsonville. This role will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, preparing payments, and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices + Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation + Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner + Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships + Assist with month-end close, accruals, and AP reporting + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies + Support audits by preparing documentation and account details + Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams as needed

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience + Strong understanding of invoice processing, 3-way match, and payment cycles + Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel + High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or QuickBooks. (
