The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is essential in providing timely financial information that supports decision-making processes within the organization. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records using financial software. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of accounts. Execute double-entry bookkeeping to record all transactions accurately. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis. Prepare and write financial reports for management review. Apply technical accounting knowledge to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with standards. Assist with public accounting tasks as needed, collaborating with external auditors. Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and processing of financial information. Stay informed about financial concepts and accounting principles to enhance reporting accuracy. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field. Proficiency in financial software and tools used for accounting purposes. Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes and double-entry bookkeeping. Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing. Familiarity with technical accounting standards and practices. Experience in public accounting is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
