Bookkeeper Join Parkville Care Center's Business Office Team! At Parkville Care Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, specialized, and value-based post-acute care to our residents. As a Bookkeeper with our team, you will play a vital role in managing our accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely billing for our residents. Job Responsibilities:
Follow established policies and procedures for accounts receivable bookkeeping, ensuring compliance with facility policies and applicable long-term care regulations Maintain, update, and monitor computer ledgers with precision and accuracy Support day-to-day office functions, providing exceptional administrative support Compile and update ancillary information by payor type, date, and service type, ensuring seamless data management Prepare and submit Medicaid claims, monitor payments, and follow up as needed to ensure timely reimbursement Reconcile accounts and prepare adjustments, maintaining a high level of accuracy and precision Process the daily census accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring accurate tracking of resident data Follow-up timely on Medicaid applications/redeterminations to maintain eligibility, ensuring continuity of care for our residents Manage and reconcile resident trust accounts daily, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial management
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of skilled nursing facility Medicaid accounts receivable processes and resident trust workflows Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PCC, and RFMS (experience preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across disciplines in a multicultural environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to various stakeholders Ability to speak and write in
