Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be processing the company's incoming invoices, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Your expertise will help maintain smooth financial operations, support vendor relationships, and uphold the integrity of our accounting processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities Process and review invoices, statements, and payment requests with accuracy and timeliness using QuickBooks Desktop. Manage vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments promptly. Maintain detailed records of all vendor information, accounts payable transactions, and credit card processing. Assist with month-end closing activities, including statement reconciliation and analysis of accounts payable data. Collaborate with other departments for efficient information utilization. Qualifications At least three years proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is essential. Self-motivated individual willing to work in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) are required. Strong verbal and written communication. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; familiarity with 10 key typing is preferred. Ability to analyze financial data critically and perform account reconciliation efficiently. Strong organizational skills combined with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
