As a key contributor, you will manage essential bookkeeping tasks, support financial reporting, and uphold accounting standards with precision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, or similar financial tools. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records. Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections. Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting standards. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements and identify discrepancies promptly. Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries to support management decision-making and ensure transparency in financial operations. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Hands-on experience with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or comparable systems. Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and public accounting procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with payroll processing, account analysis, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and budgeting processes. Ability to interpret financial data accurately while adhering to GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
