This role ensures accurate financial recordkeeping, timely processing of transactions, and smooth coordination with internal teams and external vendors. The Bookkeeper plays a key part in maintaining cash flow accuracy and supporting ETS's operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Daily & Monthly Accounting Operations Process and record daily bank transactions across all ETS accounts Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial documentation Accounts Receivable (A/R) Prepare and send client invoices for tradeshow services Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain A/R aging reports Coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure accurate billing Accounts Payable (A/P) Process vendor bills, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments Maintain vendor files and support purchasing workflows Assist with credit card reconciliation and expense tracking Compliance & Reporting Prepare and file state and local sales tax returns Support month‑end close, year‑end close, and audit documentation Maintain compliance with ETS financial policies and internal controls Process Improvement & Collaboration Work with the Warehouse, Project Managers, Labor Management to streamline accounting workflows Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes Requirements Proven experience, 2
  • 4 years, as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
MUST have excellent Proficiency in QuickBooks. Solid knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience managing accounts payable/receivable functions and strong knowledge of sales tax. Familiarity with financial concepts including account analysis, bank reconciliation, budgeting, and financial report writing. Strong skills in spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel or similar) for data analysis and report generation. Knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting practices relevant to nonprofit or corporate environments is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced setting. ETS uses Google Software. Successful candidate must be proficient using Google Drive and the suite of Google softwares.
