Description We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations for a team based in Doral, Florida. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is comfortable handling both payables and receivables while keeping records accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate will contribute to a fast-paced accounting environment by assisting with transaction processing, reconciliation work, and collection follow-up using strong organizational and data entry skills.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, assign correct accounting codes, and enter payment details accurately into the system.
- Support accounts receivable activities by preparing invoices, posting customer payments, and monitoring outstanding balances.
- Follow up with business clients on overdue accounts and maintain clear communication to help resolve payment issues.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and assist with routine updates to accounting documentation.
- Enter high volumes of financial data with precision while verifying supporting information for completeness and accuracy.

- Experience or foundational knowledge in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and the ability to identify and investigate variances.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Ability to code invoices accurately and manage detailed financial data entry tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to accuracy and deadlines.
- Comfortable handling B2B collections in a detail-focused and customer-focused manner.
- 0+ years of experience in accounting support or a related administrative finance role.
