Job Overview:
Miami First Remodeling Corporation, a prominent home improvement and construction company serving Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami County areas, is seeking an Accounting/Bookkeeping Specialist. Our diverse projects include kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, room additions, and more.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for updating office accounting, customer files, and bookkeeping. Your duties involved managing payments to vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Additionally, you will perform general administrative tasks, as well as filing, copying.
Qualifications:
Proven 3-5 years' experience with QuickBooks Online. Notary certification preferred. Proficiency in dealing with subcontractors. Skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Strong organizational skills to maintain updated customer files. Ability to perform bank reconciliation on a daily and monthly basis. Familiarity with electronic filing of payroll taxes (monthly, quarterly, and yearly). Efficient filing and record-keeping abilities.
Skills :
Background in the construction industry plus. Excellent problem-solving skills. Accurate data entry skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, though not mandatory. Dependable, responsible, punctual, and committed. For the right candidate there is a great growth opportunity.
