Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Ormond Beach, Florida. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals skilled in QuickBooks Enterprise and eager to contribute to accurate financial processes. The role offers a dynamic environment where precision and collaboration are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and financial reconciliations.
- Assist with the migration of financial data from Oracle NetSuite to QuickBooks Enterprise, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Validate and clean financial data prior to integration into the new system.
- Support the documentation, testing, and optimization of accounting procedures in QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to troubleshoot and resolve system and workflow issues.
- Provide training and support to users of QuickBooks Enterprise as needed.
- Prepare and maintain organized financial records and generate reports upon request.
- Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards during and after system implementation.
- Identify and address discrepancies in financial data and workflows. Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting roles such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping.
- Hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Enterprise; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Familiarity with data migration processes and accounting software best practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to financial and system-related challenges.
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and workflows.
