Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Post high school training in accounting, bookkeeping, and record-keeping procedures Experience in handling and processing funds and proper accounting of such Skilled in Keyboarding and use of related office equipment •Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
Performace Responsabilities:
Maintains a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions of the school center according to regulations and guidelines provided by the school administration Records details of school financial transactions in appropriate journals and ledgers. Maintains records of all purchases made by the school. Prepares financial statements as may be required. Reconciles canceled checks with bank statements as may be required. Reconciles purchase orders and warehouse orders with school budgets. Reconciles all receiving reports and processes properly to the finance department for vendor payment. Makes proper notification to Property Records of equipment purchased through internal accounts. Maintains inventory of all school supplies and equipment. Maintains effective working relationships with other employees. Performs other job related functions as may be assigned.
