Requires successful completion of DHS Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment prior to appointment and the ability to maintain these clearances as a condition of employment. Use the Job ID based on the Position Location as follows Location Job ID Palm Beach International (PBI) Airport, WPB 33805 Performs a variety of fiscal and administrative work for the Fiscal Division. Processes Advantage purchasing documents (e.g., Delivery Orders [DOs], Decentralized Purchase Orders [DPOs], Centralized Purchase Requisitions [CRQs], Centralized Master Agreement Requests [CRQMs]), Advanced Journal Vouchers (JVAs), Internal Transfers (IETT), and Inter-Fund Internal Exchange Transaction (IETC) documents. Performs annual inventory of capital equipment; maintains equipment records. Maintains the Department/Division's fiscal records according to established accounting procedures, which may include cashbooks, ledgers, subsidiary journals, and/or logs. Reconciles journals, expenditures, and related accounting records with statements and computer printouts; must possess written and oral communication ability. Orders office supplies and other items for Administration. Independently compiles data and prepares complex reports to assist the Supervisor. Monitors and maintains accounting fiscal controls regarding budget transactions such as charge-offs, transfers, expenditures, and encumbrances. Prepares and sends various correspondence; makes travel arrangements, and completes special projects as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of two (2) years of experience performing bookkeeping or related work.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include: Experience Using MS Office Word/Excel/Outlook, Experience using Advantage Financial System (must specify on application) , Experience providing customer service in person and/or over the phone, and Associate's Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/related field.NOTE :
