  • Full-time Full-Charge Bookkeeper An electrical company is seeking a highly skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the complete accounting cycle for our construction‑related business.
This role requires a detail‑oriented, organized professional who can work independently, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping, including data entry, journal entries, and double‑entry accounting Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll , and bank reconciliations Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts Handle monthly coding and closing Prepare and file quarterly reports Process child support and garnishments File and pay state and federal taxes Prepare financial reports Maintain accurate, audit‑ready financial records Protect confidential information and ensure compliance with accounting standards Requirements Accounting degree required 10+ years of bookkeeping experience Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (non‑negotiable) Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP , journal entries, debits/credits, and account reconciliation Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently Compensation $20
