In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. Your expertise will support the company's financial health by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using the accounting software QuickBooks. Process invoices and payments for accounts payable. Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data. Manage payroll processing in compliance with relevant regulations, including tax filings and deductions. Generate detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to support management decision-making. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within corporate or non-profit organizations. Strong proficiency with accounting software similar to QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or equivalent platforms. Solid understanding of accounting concepts like double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Familiarity with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable procedures, and bank reconciliation processes. Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP) and technical accounting principles is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work with spreadsheets and other financial software tools efficiently. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
