The AR/AP System Maintenance Specialist is responsible for setting up and maintaining accurate AR/AP (customer and vendor) records in JD Edwards, managing customer file creation, and collaborating with various departments. Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills are required.Key responsibilities include:
Set up and update AR accounts (customers) Accurate set up and modification of AP/vendor records Collaborate with the Tax Department to ensure correct exempt status for AR customers. Create and maintain customer files. Establish new sales personnel in JD Edwards. Transition of new customer and vendor (from acquisitions) into JD Edwards. Ensure data accuracy through regular monitoring, quality checks, and queue-based work processes. Provide guidance to plants on AR/AP records in JD Edwards. Ensure completeness and accuracy of AR/AP setups in JD Edwards. Respond promptly to plant requests for maintaining AR/AP records. Prepare activity reports for AR/AP accounts transactions.Qualifications:
Strong AR/AP background;W-9/1099
experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of multitasking and handling special projects as needed. Demonstrates strong time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver quality work. Proactive in helping others without being asked. Familiarity with ERP systems, including managing customer and vendor data. High attention to detail and adaptability in various environments. Proficient in Excel and experience with JD Edwards (JDE) preferred. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, punctuality, and dependability. Strong work ethic, positive personality, and ability to identify issues and suggest solutions to improve processes.Software Utilized:
