Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing company invoices. This position offers a flexible schedule ideal for individuals passionate about accounting and finance who thrive in a collaborative environment. Duties Process PO vendor invoices using 3 way matching of delivery receipt, PO and supplier invoice. Review and process employee expense reports. Organize and file remittance advices after invoices are paid. Review company credit card purchases monthly and match with receipt of payment. Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. Assist with month-end closing activities. Experience Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Sage or similar platforms. Strong understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting. Experience in corporate accounting environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, journal entries, and analysis skills effectively. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency).
