Job Description
Job Summary Estates Royal Limited is a boutique real estate brokerage and property management firm located in Honolulu, Hawaii. We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team of real estate professionals. In this position, you will support the management of financial records for our property management division and assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative environment that values precision, integrity, and continuous learning. The ideal candidate is proactive and eager to contribute to delivering timely and accurate financial reports. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling statements. Help with bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements against internal records to identify discrepancies. Assist with maintaining accurate general ledger entries using accounting software. Support month-end closing activities including account analysis, account reconciliation, and financial report compilation. Experience Prior experience in office administration, bookkeeping or assisting with accounting functions required. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, AppFolio, or similar platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation is essential. Strong understanding of financial concepts including account analysis, account reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting. Ability to perform with excellent attention to detail for account reconciliation tasks.
Pay:
