What You'll Do:
+ Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections follow-up, and setting up new accounts + Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by gathering data, tracking performance, and identifying key variances + Help maintain strong internal controls and accounting practices, including audit preparation and compliance support + Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy while keeping vendor records organized and up to date + Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity + Assist with month-end close, including journal support, account analysis, and recurring close tasks + Research and resolve day-to-day accounting discrepancies and respond to internal questions on financial activity

- At least 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience in an accounting or bookkeeping setting.
- Working knowledge of core accounting principles, including debits, credits, and generally accepted accounting practices.
- Experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation activities.
- Familiarity with month-end close processes and preparation of financial records for audit review.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and explain financial information clearly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working within a faith-based, mission-centered organization and contributing to a collaborative environment.
