Accounting Manager Status:
Full-Time Purpose:
The Accounting Specialist supports both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process invoices, apply payments, and maintain accurate accounting records Prepare check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments as needed Generate invoices, monitor EDI errors, and assist with deductions or disputes Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and support collections Track international shipments, inventory in-transit, vendor returns, and credit card statements Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting Maintain clear documentation of accounting processes and transactions Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues Participate in special projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
Prior experience in accounting or a related role welcome; degree in Accounting or Business a plus but not required Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with SAP or similar accounting software preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent written and verbal communication skills
