Accounting Specialist- Sales Processor Van-Wall Equipment, Inc. - 4.0 Urbandale, IA Job Details 19 hours ago Qualifications Accounting systems Spreadsheets Desktop applications Productivity software Quality data entry Full Job Description Job Summary Process equipment sales transactions (invoicing, delivery receipts, payments to manufacturers, etc.) timely and accurately, assist in ensuring the dealership is utilizing all available programs/discounts, and ensure customers are properly invoiced. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Verifies the completeness and accuracy of equipment sales information such as customer information, equipment quantity, amounts, and payoff information needed for settlements Processes equipment delivery receipts and warranty registrations Loads and/or verifies financing and used equipment floor plan and payoff information is added on the settlement with manufacturers Process sales and payments after examining for completeness and accuracy Ensures all eligible programs/discounts are applied to the sale Loads equipment rentals (including rental returns) into the dealer business system Ensures all additional customer purchases are activated (i.e. warranty and technology options) Records retail financing notes, bonuses, rentals and other purchase information into the dealer business system Invoices equipment sales and rentals in the business system to customer accounts as needed Assists equipment manufacturers with inventory audit Represents the dealership as the point of contact for manufacturers on inquiries and requests Position Qualifications 1+ years of experience with data entry Previous experience with sales processing preferred High level of attention to detail and accuracy Understands accounting fundamentals Ability to utilize and have proficiency within Microsoft Excel and other desktop applications Ability to use the dealers business system and other programs specific to the position Associates Degree preferred
