Castlerock Homes is a generational home builder crafting custom and spec homes throughout Eastern Idaho. We are seeking a sharp, self-directed Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and support the financial health of our growing company. This is a high-trust role for someone who takes pride in clean books, accurate job costs, and dependable financial reporting The Role The Bookkeeper will own the company's day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks, may include accounts payable, bill payment, purchase order administration, reconciliations, and job cost tracking. You will work directly with ownership and the management team to provide accurate, current financial information and help maintain strong financial controls. What You'll Own Maintain full-charge bookkeeping for the company in QuickBooks. Manage accounts payable, enter vendor bills, schedule payments, and maintain complete supporting documentation. Create and maintain purchase orders and reconcile vendor invoices to approved costs. Reconcile bank, credit card, vendor, and other financial accounts accurately and on schedule. Track job costs against budgets and provide ownership with accurate, current financial reports. Maintain organized records and help prepare financial information for tax filings, audits, and year-end close. Who We're Looking For A proven QuickBooks professional with at least three years of bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, bill payment, reconciliations, purchase orders, and job costing. Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage recurring deadlines independently. Strong Excel skills, including formulas, and comfort learning new software. A clear communicator who handles confidential financial information with sound judgment and professionalism. Construction or homebuilding bookkeeping experience is a strong plus, especially familiarity with job costing.
