Medical Health Centers is a leader in medical education, with more than 18 years of experience supporting universities and students in accessing high-quality clinical training opportunities. We partner with accredited universities, hospitals, and healthcare facilities to provide meaningful hands-on clinical experiences that help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on bookkeeping experience, be highly proficient in QuickBooks Online , and be comfortable managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, and financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional who is looking for a stable role with a growing organization. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording and categorizing transactions Create, send, and maintain customer invoices through QuickBooks Online Process and manage ACH payments through QuickBooks Online Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Record payments, deposits, expenses, and other financial transactions accurately Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on accounts receivable as needed Process vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliation Review transactions for accuracy and identify discrepancies or unusual activity Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding billing and payment matters Assist with other bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative duties as assigned Required Qualifications & Experience The following requirements are mandatory: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable professional bookkeeping experience Professional references are required and will be contacted as part of the hiring process Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online (the web-based version) Demonstrated experience creating and managing invoices in QuickBooks Online Demonstrated experience making and processing ACH payments through QuickBooks Online Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage confidential financial information Strong written and verbal English communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses or organizations Experience managing multiple accounts, vendors, or entities Experience preparing financial reports Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred Important Requirement Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable bookkeeping experience and must be able to provide professional references who can verify their bookkeeping experience and responsibilities. Candidates must also have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, including creating invoices and processing ACH payments through the QuickBooks Online platform. Candidates who do not have the required QuickBooks Online experience or five years of verifiable bookkeeping experience will not be considered.
