Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Office Admin & Bookkeeper, where your expertise will drive the smooth operation of our administrative functions and financial management. This vital role combines organizational excellence with accounting precision, ensuring our office runs efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records. You will be empowered to utilize your accounting software skills and financial knowledge to support our mission, contributing to a vibrant, collaborative environment that values accuracy, transparency, and proactive problem-solving. Duties Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and supply inventory to ensure seamless workflow. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger using QuickBooks. Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable and receivable transactions, and bank reconciliations with precision. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate employee compensation. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to uphold financial integrity in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Assist in budgeting activities by tracking expenses and supporting financial report writing for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and manage tax-related documentation as needed. Experience Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis efficiently. Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax experience is desirable. Experience handling accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll management. Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry accuracy. Ability to interpret financial concepts clearly and write comprehensive financial reports.
