Reports To:
Finance Manager(s) Position Summary The Assistant Bookkeeper plays a key role in supporting Finance Managers and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and daily accounting operations. This individual must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide bookkeeping and administrative support for Finance Managers Perform daily operations in QuickBooks Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Complete bank reconciliations regularly Process returned checks and maintain accurate financial records Handle client expense reports Manage email and mail deposits for clients Download and track daily bank deposits; update deposit sheets Enter and print checks as needed Process incoming and outgoing mail Support multiple managers and prioritize competing tasks effectively Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR equivalent work experience Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Must have hands-on experience with QuickBooks within the last 3 years Must have experience performing bank reconciliations Ability to multitask and effectively support multiple managers Excellent communication and organizational skills High level of professionalism and attention to detail Applicant Tracking Software by
